Yountville International Short Film Festival 2019

The Yountville International Short Film Festival 2019 returns to Napa Valley again this year! Running February 7-10th, the festival showcases over 75 world-class short films. The Yountville International Short Film Festival, or YISFF, offers more than just incredible short films.

When is YISFF?

Yountville International Short Film Festival runs from February 7th – 10th, 2019. Each of the four days will offer three blocks of films at three different theaters.

Film start times range from 11:00am to 7:30pm. Each block has its own theme, so you can choose which genres appeal to you the most.

What is there to do besides movies?

The films are specifically scheduled in blocks with gaps of 3-4 hours in between show times. This is because with so much to explore in Yountville, festival organizers wanted to give guests ample time to experience it all.

Of course, since Yountville is in Napa Valley, you know there’s plenty of wine. YISFF has partnered with wine tasting rooms throughout town. Visit the nineteen wine tasting rooms and certain passes give festival attendees special deals on wine.

If you prefer dinner and a show, you won’t be disappointed. Along the one mile downtown strip, Yountville has plenty of restaurants. From Michelin Star and award-winning restaurants to more casual options, you’ll have plenty of choices for food before or after your films.

The restaurants and wine tasting rooms are all close to the three pop-up cinemas for your convenience.

What films will be screened?

With over 75 films at the festival, it won’t be difficult to find a movie you’re interested in. And even though there are many wine options at the YISFF, there are many family friendly movies as well. You can find a full list of films and synopses here.
